pickI have loved this author‘s work before so I was happy to start this new series by her, set in Opportunity, Alaska. It‘s the story of Levi‘s struggle with his foster daughter, Wren, and how he and Savannah fall for one another once they team up to provide care for Wren. Savvy has secrets from her past with some associated shame. It‘s a surprisingly meaty story, but never felt too heavy. I loved the setting and the community around these characters.
