I‘m making my middle schoolers roar this year in the library thanks to Valente‘s beautiful reminder about libraries, one of my favorite quotes. The sign reads “A Library should not shush; it should ROAR”.

Books from my shelves with the #longtitle. Catherynne Valente's Fairyland series take the prize, but followed by a close second (Exstremely loud and incredibly close by Jonathan Safran Foer). Otherwise my shelves are pretty bare of long titles, so if you have any great recommendations, I'm all ears 📚😍 #booktober

I'm a HUGE sucker for surreal fantasy. I know that because of this beautiful series. Reading these books--let's be real, it's like low-key dropping acid.
