What fun! I loved the characters, especially Cora, & the mystery of the doll houses was fascinating. Cora‘s story got a little Forrest Gump through history, but I really loved it, a tale of the importance of highlighting women‘s stories. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

I really enjoyed this dual timeline story centering around the world of miniatures! In 2024, librarian Tildy discovers a hidden room in her San Francisco library that holds two gorgeous dollhouses—& inside one of them, she finds a miniature portrait of her own mother! In the historic chapters, the life and adventures of the dollhouses‘ creator unfolds. It‘s an engaging read & one that will especially strike a chord in anyone who loved a dollhouse!
