Stephen Tobolowsky has been in over 200 films and shows and in this alternately thoughtful and hilarious memoir he talks about the ups and downs of playing lots of character without last names as well as his tumultuous relationship with a Pulitzer-prize winning playwright.

A good read.

Celebrity memoirs are not remotely my jam, but I gotta say that I‘m glad the title intrigued me enough to pick up this book by Stephen Tobolowsky (also known as “Hey, it‘s that one guy! From that thing!”).

It‘s a great mix of thoughtful reflection and laugh-out-loud humor. This is from the time a party at Tobolowsky‘s house accidentally turned into an orgy. You know your party is rockin‘ if Sir Ian shows up.

It's #Recommendsday !! Today I'm recommending a hilarious collection of personal essays by an actor you know best as "that guy who is in that thing". Seriously, he's a character actor who is everywhere but often in the background. The title essay had me laughing so hard, I had to put down my kindle multiple times. ?
