I was not sure how I was going to follow up The Antidote, that books was amazing. But I have to say, I don‘t have any reading hangover here. Vantage Point is keeping me engaged, already 100 pages in since yesterday.

The characters were believable, the setting was great, plus there‘s a plot. This could very well be classified as a thriller but has interesting and original use of devices to propel the story. In this case, an old-money family becomes involved with a tech start up, which brings up moral conundrums about the use of technology. Not too tech-focused but mostly involved with the perspectives of a pair of friends turned sisters-in-law. Good audio!
Megarich family scion Teddy is running for senator while sister Clara just tries to keep it together after a traumatic experience and addiction issues. Then something rattles the family and the campaign, steadily growing more sinister. I really enjoyed this, told from the POVs of Clara and Teddy‘s wife Jess.
The book was intriguing and addictive. There was a part I didn't completely buy into, but I still loved it. This is how rich New Englanders really behave. The family dynamics and character development were solid.
