Mehso-so

This story has Grimm Fairy Tale/ Sleepy Hollow vibes. It started out a bit slow for me but the more I read the more interested I became. All in all it was a fun little read. Would have been great by a fire on a cold, dark, stormy night!!

So much build up for a confusingly jumbled ending. I originally thought this was going to be a retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and there are those elements, but it's closer to Snow White and Rose Red (two different stories about two different girls named Snow White...) I liked the world but not enough time was spent explaining the lore. The romance was rushed, I thought. The chemistry was barely building as the story ended.

Working on edits of McCormick's latest today. I set up a cozy spot to read and went to grab some fuzzy socks. When I came back I discovered this one had stolen my place! #catsoflitsy

And though I didn't work with this title, McCormick is now my client! So yeah, a work book for fun! (I did not realize this was a Snow White retelling, folks!)
