I loved this book so much I forgot to post my review back in January 😂😂
I may have silently mouthed a few expletives at the end. It was that good. I love this series so much! I‘m often left disappointed with the second book in a series, but not this one. Ms. Guanzon knows how to bring it and I ate up every word. Need book 3!!

Not as good as the first book, but a good read nonetheless. It felt like there was a lot of waiting for something to happen — the story WAS waiting and I guess the author felt we should too😂 There was a good amount of character development in there, and the twist at the end I did NOT see coming at all, which left us in an enormous cliffhanger. Now the third book will be a must!

The second chapter in the Hurricane Wars fantasy series finds Alaric as the Emperor and master of the Shadowforged Legion and Talasyn, his Empress from his enemy rival nation navigating their new reality and trying to find their way through powerful political machinations behind the scenes. They are forced to work together as Shadowforger and Lightweaver to overcome a threat to both their countries. I‘m really enjoying the 🔻
