Mehso-so

I don‘t think Day‘s books are for me—this is the second series I tried, and it‘s another meh read for me. My IRL book group agreed. So much repetitive thoughts, and Cece, the MC, just was not a favorite of mine. I did like the wine talk, though!

I have one more series to try by Day. Is third time the charm?

Bookish_Thoughts Her writing style isn‘t for me, either. I tried several series but just couldn‘t get into them. 1mo

Pickpick

I do love the wine bar theme and the town of Colinas and all its happenings. The author always does an excellent job of setting the scene making it easy to visualize everything.

Pickpick

I was excited to see that this series was on Net Galley! I had read the short that introduced us to our newest protagonist and really enjoyed it; this was no exception. It was nice to get an extended peek into characters we‘d met quickly in the short and the mystery was very well done.
