Two and a half years later, Penny and James are living happily in New York City. Their love is stronger than ever. Penny is graduating from NYCU, James is growing his new business, and the two are getting married at the end of the month. But graduation, starting an internship, and planning a wedding is a lot for Penny to tackle. Especially when mysteries from James' past are clawing at the surface and his scheming ex and unsupportive parents threaten to destroy the happy couple. Will their own insecurities make them question everything and sway them from the altar? This book is intended for mature audiences.

Pickpick

Book 3 in this series. Which takes place 2 years after book 2. I must say that the time jump was a bit jarring and there were characters that were new but the introduction was meh as in I felt I missed something I have to say sometimes Penny annoys me but it is what it is. So many feels with this one. Have Kleenex handy by the end of the book. Serious rollercoaster ride

THE FEMALE LEAD IS ANNOYING AF! By Odin! She‘s such a dishrag! I‘m so annoyed at her naïveté! Seriously, this story takes place in 2018, Google exists! There‘s things she does and says that one of my former students would be able to figure out- ?. Okay, still a plausible story which is why I‘m still reading.

I looked down at the ring on my finger. He hadn't called. He hadn't reached out to me at all. This was what he wanted. I loved him. I loved him so much. And if this was what he wanted, I'd give it to him. I pulled the ring off my finger and set it down on the kitchen counter. If James needed me to disappear, I'd disappear.
