pickFriendship and intense crushes don't mix well for these two teens who are attending summer camp to make up for a serious mishap. I liked seeing the ways that new friendships formed in this book, and the art style is charming. Always a pleasure to find inclusive stories. #LGBTQIA

Unfortunately, they use the flash-back/flash-forward troupe way too much, and the ace character's identity is only hinted at until a two panel reveal and is not really mentioned again despite it being a huge division in the two's relationship. I would have liked the writer to trust the story and make it linear with more acknowledgement of the struggles with identity
