Happy 4th to all the U.S. peeps on here! And happy day to everyone around the world! If you want to pin point books that truly got me into reading, it was these books. A 7 year old Angelica picked up her big sister's books about Felicity, Addy, Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly only to have Josefina come along! An American girl that looked like me! At 7, I received my first "expensive" doll for Christmas. In my family, 7 was the milestone that we girls were old enough to own/ take care of an American girl. Josefina was the doll that came out that year& I loved her dearly- I still have my doll, her bed&her wardrobe/ Chest. Sadly they are now all in storage. Hopefully I will find a picture of that Christmas I received Josefina/& or playing dolls with my sisters &I will share❤️ @LibrarianRyan
