I didn't read much as a kid. These two books that come to mind. I had surgery at Shriners Hospital when I was 7 years old. I think I was hospitalized 5 days. During that time, I had my mom read these two books aloud over and over again. She would ask "can't we read something else?" I guess these were my comfort reads, I didn't want to read anything else.

sblbooks @marleed Thanks! I have cerebral palsy. The surgery was successful to improve my mobility. The Monster at the End of This Book was so funny. I'm glad your grandkids enjoyed it! 2y
