And just like that I have to wait until March for the next volume. This really is such a fun, fabulous, laugh out loud story. Love spending time with these characters—Loid (spy), Yor (assassin), and Anya (telepath)—as they work to complete the mission. With any luck we‘ll have many more volumes to go. If you think you don‘t like manga, give this one a go. It‘s fantastic.

mandarchy The 4th book of this series was just donated to my K-5 library. We have never had Manga (I figure they can get their own, we don't need to start another section). I'm not sure whether to put it in the free pile or invest in the series and then succumb to starting a manga section in my library... More conflicted after seeing your posts. 4mo

TracyReadsBooks @mandarchy Manga can be an investment—there are already ten volumes out in this one & it‘s guesstimated (no one really knows) it will go to 20. At $7-8 dollars per, that adds up. On the other hand, this is a really fun series with great characters—Anya, the young girl at the center of it struggles with school & works hard to keep her fake family together—who might be relatable. Maybe read the 1st volume or 2 to see if it‘s a fit for your library. 4mo
