This story is an original Greek Myth. I would say the lesson in the story is having humility. Throughout the story, Jason, a human uses his brain more so than being overconfident and egotistical. In the end, with the help of others and being a leader for the Argonauts, he is triumphant.

This is the story of Jason, the son of Lolcos. When his uncle takes the throne from him he is sent on a quest for the golden fleece with other men. This is the first great quest in Greek mythology. Through many halts on their journey there and back, Jason and the Argonauts end up retrieving the fleece and he becomes the king.

This book does not have a published date on it. This book is also multiple stories put into one book. I read the Golden Fleece. It had a very colorful illustration and was a short and simple story.
