I found this novel to be full of suspense, suspense that kept me at the edge of my seat throughout. I really liked the characters of Blair and Cameron. They are well developed and all, but the thing that I think I liked the most about them is that they are so very different, which not only adds some variety, but it also shows young adult readers that people who are very different can still have strong, positive relationships with each other.

Teen mystery in which 2 best friends start a podcast to investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl 20 years ago.

I really liked this, but it's definitely a teen book with characters making impulsive, bad decisions like teenagers do so you have to be able to tolerate that if you read it.

The small town this is set in has the same name (spelled differently but sounds the same) as the town I grew up near so that was jarring to keep hearing.

This one was of soft pick for me, leaning more toward a so-so. I just couldn't really get into it and I thought about bailing, but in the end, it was just okay.

I just got this one from Libby and I'm actually feeling optimistic about starting it. I was reading #thewritingretreat but it was just a little too out there for me, so I'm starting this for my relaxing Saturday morning!

This #YAThriller opens with best friends Cam and Blair starting a podcast for their junior year journalism class. Cam latches onto the idea of using the town‘s biggest mystery- the disappearance twenty years ago of recent high school student, Clarissa- as their subject. Fast-paced but with some head-hopping, this makes for an entertaining and exciting debut! I liked the relationships between the characters and the mystery is well-plotted!

BookDragonNotWorm @Probably_reading_right_now It is similar to the Good Girl books, but good in its own right. 😊 2y

This is an intense YA thriller about 2 high school friends who create a podcast for a class assignment about a girl who disappeared from their small town 20 years ago. There are suspects, there are roadblocks, there are red herrings. Overall it was deftly written and kept me guessing until the bitter end!❤️👍
