1. I try to read a bit of everything. Mostly it‘s split pretty evenly between fantasy and science fiction, but I find that the books I enjoy the most are the ones that are hardest to categorize so let‘s just say “the weird”.

2. Roller coasters. Like for real.

3. Paleontologist

4. 53 F

5. Roger roger.

I know @batsy and @vivastory got my back on 2 and 3!

saresmoore As a teen, I worked at Universal‘s Islands of Adventure in Jurassic Park. I harbor both a deep appreciation for paleontology & dinosaurs and a deep, enduring phobia of roller coasters. *shudder* 5y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk @saresmoore A.) That would be a truly amazing job. Like, I‘m sure it had its share of drudgery but then you could just look at a dinosaur. Most jobs don‘t offer that perk. B.) I hereby induct you into the elite group of Littens who share those 2 very specific qualities. 5y
saresmoore That job was a childhood dream. Not just dinosaurs, but Marvel super heroes, comic strip characters, SEUSS LANDING, and The Lost Continent. I worked there pre-Wizarding World, but it was still amazing. My dad was the landscape manager for the whole outfit, so I got to see some really awesome behind-the-scenes stuff in my teen years—like visiting the park before it even opened to the public! Also, DINOSAURS. 5y

TobeyTheScavengerMonk @saresmoore Living the dream!!! Also, you realize, that by visiting the park before it was open to the public you were enacting the plot of Jurassic Park with significantly less carnage which is bonus cool. 5y
batsy Haha, indeed! Give me all of the dinosaur fossils ?and none of the "fun" scary rides *shudder* @saresmoore That job and seeing the behind the scenes operations and structures must have been amazing! 5y
Reggie My brother, when he was small, we had to ask the operator to stop the kiddie alligator coaster cause it was too much for him. His first gf told us he tried the Ferris wheel once and couldn‘t open his eyes and never went on it again. Poor guy. 5y
