In a horror group I‘m in on fb, there‘s an indie author bracket challenge. Authors nominated themselves, readers voted, and it was narrowed down to 32 for the bracket. We have 6 months to read as many as we can, and voting starts September. So I‘ll have a LOT of horror reviews coming up! 😃😱 I enjoyed this. Definitely splatterpunk, but the revenge was really fun. Trigger warning for all the things.

This one has everything the typical Volpe novel has, blood, gore & smut!

It's intense and fast-paced. I was always wanting to know what was going to happen next, so I burned through this pretty quickly.

There are some despicable characters in it and I enjoyed it when they got their comeuppance.

A superb sequel.

This one was very fast-paced, gruesome and some parts were just really disturbing.

The writing as always with Volpe is great, he's descriptive as ever here and creates a claustrophobic read

Certainly not for the faint hearted.

Umm… wow! I have read some truly terrifying and gruesome things in my life, but this book takes the cake for sure. First time I have been introduced to the splatter punk genre, and I don‘t know if I am a fan cuz I‘m still somewhat in shock. In fact halfway through I almost gave up. Definitely not for the faint of heart and tons of trigger warnings. Who am I kidding, the whole book is a trigger.

This is an extreme horror novel filled with gore, sex, depravity and the conclusion is more gore soaked violence and a characters comeuppance that was a delight to read.

My second novel by this author and I'll definitely be looking into more from him, he's a good writer and creates good characters especially Talia; I liked her and would be good to see her in a sequel.

If you've got a strong stomach and like extreme horror, this is for you!
