Book 9 in the DCI Daley series set in the remote west coast of Scotland, but this book also takes in Ireland just across the water. Another excellent read in this series that starts off with a plane flying below radar and crashing at Kinloch with 2 dead people on and no sign of anyone else. Also involves a kidnapping, terrorism and a sad loss to the series. #SeriesLove2023 @TheSpineView

5th book finished for #20in4. 1 goal met ✅

Pickpick

Another great book in the DCI Daley series, set in Scotland. This time a plane crashes and two bodies are found. Jim and Brian are to investigate, but then Hamish disappears and Chief Superintendent Symington is in a spot of bother. It's definitely a part of Scotland would love to visit.

Andrew65 A great series. 2y

I have decided to take a break from Empire of the Vampire as I wasn't really feeling it anymore. I will go back to it. I started the tagged book this evening, I always enjoy a crime novel. This pile of books could be for spooky October. I might not read the books I intended to read now.

Eggbeater I did the same with Empire of the Vampire. It wasn't holding my attention. 2y
