"Long before Amelia Earhart became a superstar, she was a girl who longed to touch the stars. But the dresses women had to wear at the time made those dreams seem almost impossible. Amelia didn't let that stop her. As a young aviator breaking records and expectations, she learned to fly her plane with flair. 4 ⭐This wonderful story is a side of Amelia Earhart that most kids do not learn about. She was a style icon. She wanted to dress for success, but still dress for comfort. And like the saying goes, if you can‘t find what you are looking for, make it yourself. Amelia did just that. This book has wonderful illustrations and a great story. I am sad to say the author passed away, but it will be a staple in some library collections for years to come.

I did not know Earhart had been a fashion designer! This book should be a three-star read, but the illustrations turned it into a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LiteraryinLawrence I didn‘t know that either! 3y
LibrarianRyan I know. I just read a new kids book that had this in it. It was so interesting. 3y
LibrarianRyan @WanderingBookaneer It's a new early chapters series. I have read all of them so far. It starts with “stuff your teacher wants you to know“ then in adds lots of different things that do not normally show up in kids books like that she was a cloths designer. 3y
