so-soI will admit to appreciating a book populated with unlikeable characters IF, and especially when, the author can make me care enough about them I keep turning pages. Unfortunately, this book, filled with unlikable characters, almost but not quite pulled it off. Prodigal daughter comes home for her father‘s funeral and finds a family in disarray. Lots of drama and lots of secrets. A solid debut with enough promise I‘ll continue reading the author.

The plan is to make progress on the tagged book as well as A Most Beautiful Thing which I just started. Also hope to spend a little time with Buffy (love Jenny Frison‘s spectacular cover!!!). We‘ll see if I can stick to the plan!
