Cameron and Lisa Murdoch are successful crime-writers. They have been on the promotional circuit, joking that no-one knows how to get away with crime like they do. After all, they write about it for a living. So when their 7 year old son Zach goes missing, naturally the police and the public wonder if they have finally decided to prove what they have been saying all this time - are they trying to show how they can commit the perfect crime?

Mehso-so

Overall an ok read it started feeling a little over the top for me just after halfway through I felt it dragged on too long. The ending did have some surprising twists, but I wasn't left feeling satisfied when all was revealed. The author, has said that he changed the ending prior to publication.I wonder if the original one would have been more satisfying for him and why he changed it.

Pickpick

Wow, was this one crazy! A paced, anger driven plot that was part mystery, part thriller, and all good! Perhaps not the most realistic narrative at times, but lots of fun and I'd definitely read more by this author!
