This was a predictable, short read. I did still enjoy it but wish it had a bit more substance🥲 Now for the actual series and not prequels 📖

Quick novella read from one of my favourite authors. Narrated really well & a great introduction to the Cormac Reilly police procedural series, set mostly in the West of Ireland.

Onioons @LiteraryinLawrence The Ruin is the first in the series but there are also a couple of prequels. It'd be fine to read them as standalones I think. 2y
