I was so anxious as the judge opened the envelope with the verdict. I feared another Rodney King moment. I‘m so glad that justice was served.

I wish it hadn‘t taken a seventeen year old with the thought to record George Floyd‘s murder, and I hope she can let go of the guilt she mentioned in her testimony.

I hope that this conviction is the catalyst for some long overdue and necessary change.
