pickThis Romanian author is a former handball player, who left her sports career after the birth of her child and worked for some time at the Institute for Research in Mathematics and years later founded a well-known local publishing house and humanitarian foundation. As amazing as this may sound, her writing in this short autobiographical essay is soft and poetic, nevertheless it lets transpire the inner force with which she outran personal dramas.
