Lindy Have you been to the Museum of Bags and Purses in Amsterdam? One time when I visited, they had an ugly bags exhibit and the descriptions focused on aspects that made the same purse beautiful or ugly, depending on the viewer. 3y
shanaqui @Lindy I haven't, but it sounds like something me and my wife should consider next time we're there! Our interest in fashion is sort of a tangent off our interest in sewing (and especially home sewing), so I wonder if they have the older sorts of bags/purses that people made for themselves... 3y
Lindy @shanaqui Oh, you would definitely find it interesting since you have an interest in textiles. The top floor has historical pieces that document the early evolving history of bags. People have been carrying stuff for centuries. 3y
