2⭐️ Lots of eye-rolling moments! 😑 Where‘s the Zola that I admire so much? This novel is so different; I couldn‘t cope when he detailed all the saints, angels, and devils. I completely lost it when it went Romeo & Juliet 🙄

Smarkies Which Zola do you recommend reading? 3y
sisilia @Smarkies The Dream is book 5 of Les Rougon Macquart, based on Zola‘s recommended reading order. Out of the 5, I enjoyed Money the most. I still have 15 novels to read, and I‘m sure the best is yet to come 3y
sisilia @Milara I totally agree! 3y

Pickpick

Zola takes a step away from his trademark style in the Rougon Macquart series and delivers a fantastical symphony I never thought he was capable of. A million light years away from Therese Raquin.
