Pickpick

When British soldiers attack his village, 14-year-old Saxso needs to draw on all that he has learned and all of his strength to rescue his mother and sisters. This would make a good movie, probably an indie or PBS; I think it might be too subtle for a mainstream film. This enjoyable story also gave me a clearer picture of the way the French, British, and Native Americans interacted during the colonial period. #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks
