I just wanted to show a better photo of this beautiful watercolor from @Gissy from my #blitsy package. Its just so gorgeous. I wanted to post the info for the artist in case anyone else wants to see their work, https://www.etsy.com/shop/SBrownART?load_webview=1&bid=WwGGAr_0H5HA9F_13-MzWjT2l... Thank you again!

Chelleo Whoa! That‘s gorgeous! 🤩🤩🤩 14mo
Gissy I‘m glad you liked it. I received one of his artwork last year and I loved it. This time the artist sent me one copy for free when I bought yours. I will buy more because I like his style. Yes, they are beautiful. I love that one because she has a book, I like the surroundings, the colors are stunning😍I need this one too
😂😂😂I think that will be my next purchase.

I haven‘t really been actively creating much lately, so I haven‘t had anything to post for #LitsyCrafters , but I did pull out my watercolors to practice blending colors today. I want to do a larger landscape, but I‘m still trying to figure out which shades go with which. I haven‘t used this palette in a while, so it may take a few more gos until I really am comfortable with the way the colors go together, but it‘s progress, so I‘ll take it. :)

Nutmegnc I love your palette!! 2y
slategreyskies @Nutmegnc thanks! I made it myself. :) 2y
Nutmegnc @slategreyskies no way?! For yourself or do you have a shop?? 2y

slategreyskies @Nutmegnc I don‘t have a shop, no. I just purchased an empty palette box and a bag of plastic pans. I used liquid watercolors mixed with something clear (I forget the name of it right now) and made sure I labeled the sides of all the pans, so I know what color to replace it with if I use all of one color up. I actually have several palettes I‘ve made, including one old tea tin. For that one, I stuck magnets to the bottoms of the pans to hold them. 2y
slategreyskies @Nutmegnc it‘s not hard to do, but it does take some patience. I have fun choosing which colors to use in which palettes. Especially the mini palettes like the tiny old tea tin. It‘s only about the side of an Altoids tin, so I had to be really selective about which colors to include. 2y
Nutmegnc Magnets!! What a great idea!! 2y
Catsandbooks Wonderful! Any type of creating, no matter how big or small, is important! 2y
LiseWorks I have been doing lots and lots of book marks lol, getting g ready for the farmers market this year. I have not been doi g any crocheting but I have started cross stich. I had not done so for 27 years. 2y
slategreyskies @Catsandbooks Yes, I know what you mean. It‘s easy to put off being creative to do other things instead that aren‘t as rewarding (like dishes or laundry or even something like playing around on my phone). Balancing life and making time for creativity can be challenging for me, but it‘s so rewarding when I do. 💕 2y
slategreyskies @LiseWorks Oh, those both sound great! I think bookmarks are fun to make too. I like to make them blank on the backs, because as I‘m reading, I make lists of words and ideas on the backs of the bookmarks. It‘s kinda cool, and over the years I‘ve amassed a pile of bookmarks with cool word and idea lists on them. Glad you‘re getting into cross stitch too. That sounds fun and relaxing as well. :) 2y

This book is teaching me how to mix watercolors to get precisely the colors I want. I painted swatches the other day and tested out my palette today. Fun times. :)
