Pickpick

This book is home to one of my (if not my very) favorite characters: 14 year old Thisbe, so religious she feels the need to baptize the neighborhood cats, and who is falling in love with the girl next door. If I'd had a daughter I would have named her after this character...if I could have gotten my husband on board. 😁

mauveandrosysky This has been on my TBR forever. 8y
ApoptyGina69 I LOVE the name Thisbe. I feel like I know it from somewhere else... Can't remember at the moment. Will add to TBR! Have you read Red Shoes for Nancy? I read it in fifth grade Catholic school. Sadly, out of print. 8y
Alena My favorite Joe Meno. Just brilliant storytelling. 8y
Leelee.reads @ApoptyGina69 You know it from A Midsummer Night's Dream. The hilarious play within the play - the lovers are Pyramus and Thisbe!😀 8y
