Where Is My Book?
Where Is My Book?: An Adventure in the Library | Romy Berntsen
3 posts | 1 read | 5 to read
Lilli lives in a very special place; she lives in a library but Lillis library isnt an ordinary library because she lives in one of the books and at night when everyone has gone home Lilli comes out to play! Lilli loves night time when she jumps out of the book to explore. She jumps from book to book reading about all the wonderful places in the world and loves the colourful pictures and illustrations. But whats this? Someone else is in the library tonight, a little boy and he is crying. His name is Aram and he tells Lilli he has fallen from the book where he lives and cant find his way home. He lives in a book with big mountains and beautiful lakes but cant remember its name. Lilli leads Aram to a section of the library where there are hundreds of books. "Oh dear," she says, "this might take all night." "Well never find it," says Aram as he wipes a tear from his eye. "Yes we will," says Lilli as she takes him by the hand and tells him it will be the greatest adventure he has ever had. Will they find his book before daybreak or will the owners of the library find out their amazing secret? This wonderful story is beautifully illustrated by Romy Berntsen and is sure to delight children and parents alike.

1. The most succinct description of my bookshelf organization is that each shelf holds a particular category. Shelves with fiction are all alphabetical by author, while the NF shelves are a little more random.
2. The vast majority of my books are on one of four bookcases in the bedroom, or on my nightstand. (Newly acquired/checked out books could be anywhere, however.) ⬇️
3. Yes to all, but I‘m also a vigorous library user.

Susanita There are a few specialized books that live elsewhere. A Maryland guide book in my car, books about healthy eating in the kitchen with the cookbooks, etc. This book goes back and forth between my closet and one of the bookcases, depending on the latest configuration: 2y

“The library is the only place on earth you can visit so many places in one day!”
Aram gets lost from his book and Lilli spends the evening helping him find his home, enjoying quite an adventure along the way. This was fun!
