pickWhat an enchanting book this is! My daughter is adamant it's non-fiction & mermaids truly exist - who's to say she's wrong? We were both fascinated by the mermaid myths & legends from around the world - my daughter was particularly intrigued by Yemoja, the Yoruba "fish mother" goddess, and the man eating Mondao from Zimbabwe! ? A lovely book to enjoy together and return to many times ?♀️??♀️??♀️
AlaMich Adorable! I had a conversation with a kindergartner I work with recently and she insisted that mermaids (as well as fairies and narwhals 😂) are “weal”!!! 3y
TheKidUpstairs @AlaMich 1/3 is not bad! ? My 5 and 7 year olds are big into learning real vs not real, every show we watch and book we read "is this real? Is that real?" It's interesting to watch them grapple with it all! 3y
