This book is cute and emphasizes perseverance and determination. This would be a good book to read to kids during testing to keep their spirits high or when you can feel morale and motivation slowing down in the winter/ holiday season.
Snail Crossing, Corey R. Tabor, 2020. This book takes us on a journey for a little snail that's bound for a cabbage. He jumps through hoops to try to get to the cabbage he sees on the horizon. Eventually, he gets some help and they are able to enjoy the cabbage!

I thought this book showed a great relationship with compassion and caring for others in many ways. The illustrations were a little bland for me I would‘ve like to see more color but I thought it was an okay book!

The book tells a story about a snail crossing the road when some ants fall into so trouble along the way the snail decides to help them. Through all the challenges the snail believed nothing could stand in his way. Everything works out in the end and the Ants and snail enjoy tea and cabbage together.
This book made me laugh out loud when I first read it. I think it‘s a great example of unlikely friends and helping others and they will help you.

The book, Snail Crossing was one of my favorite reads so far! The illustrations were so interesting and caught my eye immediately overall showed support between the characters
