Ok ladies...what strikes your fancy for this summer? Have you read any of these yet? Any on your radar already? I‘ll tag them all below so you can read the descriptions. 😉

tjwill I‘ve read Freedom Writers. Of the others, I‘m leaning toward Chernobyl, Timbuktu, and Language Police. 5y
rjsthumbelina I have been wanting to read The Language Police. And I own the audiobook of The Badass Librarians of Timbuktu 5y
keithmalek I'm not a lady, but I've read (and thoroughly enjoyed) The World Without Us. 5y
daniwithtea I‘ve read Timbuktu. The rest sound really great! 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @keithmalek That‘s ok! I‘m glad to know you liked it. I‘ll read all of them eventually, but our group for a book exchange just happens to include all ladies this time, so I was trying to pick something no one‘s read yet or already owns. 5y
keithmalek Whoops. I didn't see all the tagged people. 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @keithmalek Again, that‘s ok, a bunch of extra people chimed in too, nothing is really private here, and I love the input. In my real life a few read, but almost none read nonfiction, so it‘s great to talk about them with other people who have read them. 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @daniwithtea @tjwill @Riveted_Reader_Melissa My first choice is The World Without Us. I read the Craft book so long ago that I‘d reread if people were interested. I think Reds is too long for a round robin read (700+ pages). If we read the Pun book, then Language Police is a LOT of language-related reading. So maybe save one of them for another round. Voices from Chernobyl sounds deeply depressing. 5y
tjwill @BarbaraTheBibliophage I‘d be up for The World Without Us too. 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa So @BarbaraTheBibliophage @tjwill @daniwithtea Is that The World Without Us Then? Just double checking... 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage I think so, yes! 5y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @BarbaraTheBibliophage I thought I better check since I didn‘t have a consensus at first, if not I had a plan B waiting in the wings. 😉 5y
daniwithtea @Riveted_Reader_Melissa sounds good to me! 5y
