Getting flashbacks with the news from the US right now. I feel you. 35 and a half years ago, this is what was happening in the National Assembly in Québec. 3 dead, 13 wounded, and my mother trapped somewhere in the building. (She was fine in the end.)
Flashing back hard.

tournevis @kspenmoll @dgrachel @zezeki I'm flashing back because I know just how horrible it is for this to be happening at all, let alone a mob. In my mother's case, it was one guy and she was all the way on the other side of the complex. Not like it was a mob that the police didn't seem to mind to let it, like from what I can see on the news right now. 3y

tournevis @Clare-Dragonfly Me too. I just hope that the person eho was harmed today by these domestic terrorists will be ok. And that their children won't be as traumatized as I was then 3y
