East of West combines Machiavellian political maneuvering, apocalyptic religious imagery, Western motifs, and sci-fi tech. The characters all have secrets and ulterior motives. There's no shortage of shoot outs, ambushes, or eviscerations.

The nations are going to war. Incredible action. Dragotta's art juxtaposes conflict between individuals with massive ships or buildings.

While the second volume of this series left me wanting for payoff, this third collection of “East of West” delivers plenty. I‘m impressed with Hickman‘s ability to juggle a vast storyline without getting me confused. Going to dive straight into volume four. #graphicnovel

I can‘t decide if my favorite character is LeVey or Babylon. This series is starting to really get good!

I'm really enjoying this series of comics, but I have a really hard time explaining what's going on. It's a sci-fi western with political intrigue, but after that I'm hard pressed to describe it as anything else but WTF. 😜#riotgrams Day 10 #comics

An interesting twist going on :) the world is not always as it appears

Library haul! I'm about halfway through east of west volume three, hopefully I'll find time today to finish it. It's nice to change it up every once in a while, switching between graphic novels and regular books

I'm not quite sure how to describe this series. It has some western, some sci-fi, and some alternative history in it. It all mixes to be an intriguing story.
