Gun Before Butter | 
pickI quite enjoyed this mystery. The atmosphere gave me a Maigret sort of vibe: comfortably married detective with an interest in people and justice. Van der Valk was grumpy in a way I find amusing, but not without heart. I would read more if I could find them.
