This is the first book in a promising new series about an FBI agent with an extraordinary ability to track people. The characters are well-developed and the action deftly paced. There is welcome humor, but at times awkwardly applied. Otherwise, it's a very good read.

The start of a new series with an almost intriguing main character. I think fans of police procedurals and serial killer novels would like it if they don't mind a little paranormal mixed in, but I found myself bored with the overarching hunt for the elusive killer.

The only benefit of my drive from Bucks County to University of Pennsylvania Hospital down 95 every morning is the increased audiobook time. Liking this one so far.

Starting a new audiobook. It was compared to Connolly's Charlie Parker series which I love.

Although I still have a few hours left on my book, trying to pick my next audiobook. These are the 4 I'm currently considering. Any thoughts.

Loved the premise (mystery with a hint of supernatural), but the execution didn't meet up with its promise. The mc was going for sardonic and self deprecating but just came off as whiney. And there were several factual details that were just off and the author, who is in law enforcement, should have known better.

Good first novel in a new series. I enjoyed the premise ( Steps can see people's shine) and didn't feel that it was too "out there". The mystery kept me reading. I will be reading the next book in this series

I'm reading the advance copy of this one and enjoying every page. It's extremely hard to put down!

So...started this morning and just finished. It wasn't that it was a better mystery or had more twists, but it was just so engaging and a fresh voice. The main agents are flawed but are genuine and the story runs along at a great pace. Can't wait for the next one.

Just starting and already loving it. Always so happy to find a new thriller. Can't wait to see how it all comes together.
