This shawl doesn‘t look like much after two days and 28 rows. Only 354 more rows to go, plus a wide lace border. A serious drawback to this pattern is that it takes all of my attention and I can‘t listen to an audiobook at the same time. #KnittersofLitsy will understand my biggest challenge, as someone who knits tightly, is an Estonian nupp that requires making 7 in one stitch, then purling all 7 together in the subsequent row. 😰
Oryx Yikes! Looks good, but hard! 4y
Louise Hats off to you! It will be gorgeous when finished! Really nice and versatile color choice! 4y
Crazeedi That looks very complex, I admire your talent! 4y

CoffeeCatsBooks Looks beautiful! 4y
ScientistSam Looks lovely. I'm nowhere near as advanced a knitter as you, but I do tend to knit tightly too so I feel your pain! 4y
Lindy @ScientistSam I‘m learning how to loosen up. No other choice with this pattern. 😬 4y
Lindy @CoffeeCatsBooks @Crazeedi @Oryx Thanks! I plan to proceed slowly and carefully, keeping errors to a minimum. 🤞 4y
Lindy @Louise Thanks! I love the colour too. The fibre is a blend of alpaca and linen. 4y
Louise Oh, what an interesting blend! I adore both fibers, though I tend to associate one with winter and the other with summer. ☃️☀️ 4y
Lindy @Louise I bought the yarn at a knitting store in Tokyo in March. It‘s taken me until now to decide on a shawl pattern that I like . 4y
Louise I hope you‘ll post a pic of the finished shawl! 4y
Lindy @Louise I will. Thanks for your words of encouragement. 😊 4y
