This took me months to read. Not because it was a hard book but because of the topic and the police lack of everything, it just made me angry. I have still not watched the series on Netflix and I won't be doing so.
What's your thoughts if you have read it?

Tanisha_A Oh! I watched the NF series and gosh! yes it was a tough watch, but well made 3y
MsMelissa The book was a pick for me, but I had the same angry reaction you did as I was reading it. 3y

18-2020 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I watched the Netflix series about a month ago, didn't realise it was a book let alone more disturbingly that it is a book written by investigative journalists and that this actually happened. Its a sad story but the narrative is filled with facts, figures and statistics in regards to crimes against women in the USA.

Such a great book about rape and how it continues to be investigated and handled. If I ran the world, every police officer would read this prior to getting their first paycheck. The great cops wouldn‘t mind and the less woke might learn something. Loved it. 5🌟

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Sounds very important! stacking!! 4y
Samplergal I should have said it reads like a novel. It‘s good. 4y
