picke. e. cummings is one of my absolute favorite poets (and my mom‘s)—to the point that I actually wrote an entire play based on one of his poems! I had no idea this picture book about his life existed until Mom sent it to me as a birthday gift. It‘s lovely, and incorporates cummings‘ style of writing and a few of his poems, too. I can see myself reading this to my kiddos one day.

pickThis is a truly beautiful picture book biography of e. e. cummings. It celebrates his life and creativity from a small boy saying poems aloud to his mother through his adulthood. It explores his influences such as nature and everyday beauty. Now I want to read more of his poems!
