As a therapist, I‘m always seeking different exercises/activities to use with clients. At a training yesterday, I learned several new mindfulness activities for myself & clients. Since I‘ve seen a lot of #selfcareseptember and #gratitude posts, thought I‘d share one you can do everyday.
G—something you‘re glad about
L—something you learned
A—something you‘ve accomplished
D—something that delighted you

8little_paws I love it! I just got a mindfulness workbook from the library. 5y
Scochrane26 @8little_paws I‘ve used mindfulness w/ kids I see in therapy some but realized yesterday that I still don‘t know how to incorporate it as a daily philosophy. Will be reading more. My colleague gave us a few book suggestions, more about compassion fatigue since that‘s what training was about. I really like A Walk in the Wood, which is a Winnie the Pooh book w/ mindfulness stories. I‘ve used it for myself & w/ kids. 5y
