What happens when an average guy - an old guy at that- tries to do the impossible? With little money in his pocket, with little more than a dedicated dream and determination, he goes back to a small California community, surrounded by film students and professors 30 or even 40 years younger, with one goal in mind: To make a feature film by the end of the semester. To write, cast, direct and produce the film, a "road movie," from beginning to end. Throwing Caution to The Wind is the rollicking, revealing, risk-taking result.
