Very good travelogue, very well-written touching on interesting subjects: traditions, poverty, crime, immigration, family, etc.
More than a travelogue, it's a book of encounters. Paul Theroux shares the stories of people he meets along the way.
It was a very slow read for me, I could only read a few pages at a time (not sure why). I loved when he referred to other books. The only thing missing for me was a map...
