Pickpick

A collection of short stories by a variety of talented fantasy authors (published 1979) - all set in the same time and place. It‘s a fun romp of side quests and adventures, thieves and wizards, & brothel Madames overthrowing the patriarchy.

My favorite story, “Myrtis”, is by Christine DeWees “a kindly, white-haired grandmother who rides a Harley and wants to be a writer.” This is the only thing she published which is a shame. ⤵️

atla The final story is by Marion Zimmer Bradley. This collection is for everyone who has been missing their D&D games during COVID. And the best part is that this is just the beginning of these shared world stories; there are 13 books in the collection. (edited) 4y
