Entering the world of the dead, the detective discovers the [T R U T H] of what happened the night the Ainsworth Mansion burned down. With only victims and no witnesses, the souls of the dead commence the game. As the mystery unravels, the detective navigates a multiverse of shattering possibilities. A world with fireflies of soul and gargling demon butlers where the line between fantasy and reality blurs.

Pickpick

A murder mystery. A surreal fantasy. The story of a thoroughly dysfunctional family. A love story. A battle between good and evil. I could go on!
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It really could have done with a better proof reader as there are a number of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors, but they don't detract from this strange and enthralling book.

So, I know I'm going to start my #24in48 #readathon with [TRUTH] by Michael James Payne (I decided on holding off on starting it for this event), but now I need to pick some more potential weekend books out. I also want to try and fill some of my #PopSugarReadingChallenge and #GoodreadsSummerChallenge prompts too!!
It starts at 5am UK time, so I best catch a few hours sleep.
So much choice, so little time... @24in48
