Redemption of Anais
Redemption of Anais | Virginia Nemetz
1 post | 1 to read
The work of Anais Nin is second only to the person. Her journals are a treasure to those who wish to understand women, trauma, sexual abuse, and emotional pain so intense that one must split into fractured personalities. In this fictional account of her early life, there is the essence of the real and brave woman who overcomes the wounds of abuse to metamorphose into a healer. Nemetz takes the woman, adds fictional characters, events and plot to come up with a page-turning literary adventure of a woman bigger than life.

Reading the manuscript of a book by a friend and customer (sequel to the tagged book, second of a trilogy). It‘s a wonderful, but very unusual read: almost more philosophy text than novel — which in a way makes sense as the author is a psychologist.
