My Walter Mosley installment of the day. The next book in the Leonid McGill series. I love this title because that is what I am doing as if follow this saga. But once again Mr. Mosley does a wonderful job of keeping Leonid out of trouble and the juggling act continues. But now I am wondering what will become of Twill?

Mosley usually delivers, but this was the best of his that I'd read in a while and the best of the Leonid McGill stories. All the modern noir tropes are there - the hero who fights better than anyone else, the friend who is the most feared hitman on the planet, the friend who can hack anything anywhere and the friend in the police who can get him out of any jam. And yet, there is something more about these stories.

This was my second book by Walter Mosley, and I really enjoyed it! I don't normally read series out of order, but this one was available and I needed a book fast. It's about an east coast private eye who is juggling a lot of cases that all involve people who seem to want him (or his) dead 💀 The pic is from an art installation on the river walk near my house.

Laura317 That is a cool art installation. 7y
