This is a short but affecting memoir of living with a spouse with AIDS, back in the late 80s/early 90s when HIV was highly feared “gay cancer,” and many respectable people still did not admit to being gay - and certainly, no woman could ever admit in public that her husband had slept with men. I listened to the audiobook, which was a good choice. Such a devastating situation, with huge stigma piled on top of sudden, severe terminal illness. 😢
