Haven‘t posted; have been reading! Most recent the last 2 volumes (The Man in the Wooden Hat & Last Friends) of the Old Filth trilogy. Rashomon points of view of story for each volume - husband, wife, lover. Working on my pile of TBRs, not helped by adding new purchases! Making a dent, though.

Finally finished the Old Filth trilogy - perhaps being in England was the extra motivation I needed. The three books share such an odd, charming writing style.

I have Gardam's Old Filth, which I first heard about on an episode of @ReadingEnvy but still haven't read it. It wasn't until I got this one home from the thrift store the other day that I found out it's the third in Gardam's trilogy, which begins with Old Filth .

Although I did not like the second book as much as the first (which I really enjoyed very much), I am starting the third one today. Give the last part of the trilogy the chance to be a great conclusion.
