pickSuper short novella and the second story I‘ve read by Sophie Jordan. I like her writing enough that I need to try a full-length book. There was some banter, Violet was a spunky and outspoken delight, and what there was of the story was interesting. It‘s not the best developed novella - a little rushed and choppy - but a decent break from tales of Krampus and Schnabelperchten
